C4 MOBILITY IN ESTONIA- Pupils' visit

 MARCH 25th- 29th 2019

Tasks to be done  by  partners prior Estonian mobility

  • Literacy Lessons Guide will be minimum 70 pages (A4). The module will be conducted in English, but later it will be translated by each partner in his/her language. Estonian partner will be responsible for writing an introduction and  combining all and thus, the manual will be done. Conclusions to the manual will be done during mobility.
  • Guide: electronically(issuu) + printed form
  • Guide: you may include pictures or links for recorded videos (with English subtitles, if needed) during activities. This is a must to show how activities are implemented. Videos must be uploaded on our project youtube channel. Please indicate a description.

  • Each partner will put into practice  3 different activities from the guides. A reflection on the practice will be presented during Estonian mobility. This reflection will also be included in the last guide on literacy lessons.

  • Estonian partner can provide us with a printed version of the activities file (from the wiki) at their school ( if needed).
  • All students and teachers must bring their project T-shirts to the mobility

  • Project website must be updated by the French partner. I'll send you a mail, Virginie.
  • Estonian partner must send us invitations letters by 8th February. Partners must fill in the C4 Estonian folder on the wiki with information about arrivals, participants etc… as we did in the rest of the mobilities.

  • Turkish and Spanish partners will bring Writing skills manual copies to the rest of partners. ( Spain brings the copy to Kersti, Mustafa brings the copies for Kerstin and Virginie)

  • Very important: Students need to meet their host family before the mobility. It would be very useful if they could meet before coming on Skype.
  • We must fill in Europass files before coming to the mobility. They must be signed by your headmistress/headmaster and Estonian headmaster respectively.

Tasks to be done by students prior to Estonian mobility

  • Students' Flipped Video: as we learnt in last Estonia mobility, our students can record a short video where they explain the main expressions in their language to:
    • Greeting and getting to know you (hello, how are you?, what's your name?, where are you from?, nice to meet you, goodbye, etc)
    • This videos can be uploaded on Twinspace

  • Twinspace: twinspace wall updated with activities to deal with storytelling in our language classes. Pictures and videos of this must be posted on Twinspace home.
  • Story Mail Chain
    • Teachers and students must work on a specific section of our future made-up story. As we agreed, each country must work on a specific section of the story, and it must be 3 pages long  and in this order, as follows:
    • 1. Estonian: context
    • 2. France: characters
    • 3. Turkey: introduction
    • 4. Germany: plot
    • 5. Spain: conclusion
  • Process
    • Estonian partner will work on the story's context and send it (only to) to French partner on the 1st February 2019
    • Once got it, French  partner will send both sections ( Estonian and French) to Turkey on  8th February 2019
    • Turkey will start working on the intro and they will send the three sections to Germany on 15th February 2019
    • Germany will work on the story plot and send this and previous sections to Spain on  22nd February 2019
    • Finally, Spain will conclude the story and it will be completed by 3rd March 2019 ( deadline). At that weekend, Spain will upload the story on Twinspace. This will be a model for our project students who will travel to Estonia.

  • All students tasks must be coordinated and monitored by their respective teachers.

Tasks For Partners & Students During Estonian Mobility:

  • During Estonian mobility: explanation and reflection on the praxis of activities must be done. This will be included in the last guide on literacy lessons. We also need to deal with manual conclusions and include them in the guide.
  • Estonia partners, as hosts, will organise workshops to deal with literacy and activities with students, where they will apply some of their activities suggested to check suitability.
  • Turkish partner suggests to include one first day energizer activity with students and teachers.
  • Students will attend a lesson and they can reflect on similarities and differences according to their home countries and share it with us.
  • Sts will work in mixed groups ( one student one country) to develop their own story. We agreed on using the activity we developed during C3 in Estonia to create a story (kinesthetic learning).
  • Sts will present their stories. To do so, they will be given different possibilities ( record a podcast, drama, tv show,  tv interview, read aloud, sing a rap that summarizes the story, create a storyline to tell your story using Mindmeister , create an animated video for the story using Powtoon etc) so our students will be assessed by teachers.
  • All stories, including the model story, will be collected to create an e-book/ booklet after C4 mobility.
  • Whenever possible, we could have a free time afternoon to get our students to Tallinn and visit the capital of the country.

Tasks For Partners After Mobility:

  • Each partner will organise activities to disseminate the guides among the scholar community as well as the activities suggested to ensure the sustainability of the project
  • Each partner is responsible for dissemination updates: local press, school website, project blog and other social networks (facebook, Instagram, twitter). The Coordinator will also update project facebook.
  • After mobility, Estonian partner will prepare the newsletter of the C4 mobility. Please, Kersti, after mobility, you send me a file with the information and pictures you’d like to insert and I’ll do it for you (I’ve got the template on my IPAD). Then I’ll upload it on the wiki. Still waiting for the C3 mobility file
  • Students must also disseminate what they learned and what they did before and during the mobility and post this on twinspace and other social networks. Task outcomes must be shared with the rest of the scholar community.

The  Project Coordinator

Raquel Abad Fernández.
